Fantastic list of seeds! I think it is just great that you have focused your life on nature at such a young age. I too would love to have 10 (maybe 5) acres someday to plant a wonderland of natives plants, and am already doing that on 1.25 acres. Difference is, my interest didn't come into sharp focus until age 45. :) There are quite a few seeds on this list I am interested in, and I checked your want list and I have a few on that list. Maybe we can do a trade this fall? Just a note - on your want list is Cynanchum louiseae - this is an extremely invasive non-native vine that is becoming a serious problem in the Northeast US. And it has the additional problem that Monarch butterflies will "sense" it is in the Milkweed family, lay eggs on it, and then it will kill the caterpillars because it is toxic to Monarch larvae.

mine is a nikko, but this may apply. i have two shrubs planted at the same time and were the same size. both planted int eh front border. one, placed in original ground of mostly clay. the other, placed in an area we had to fill in due to a new sidewald raising the ground level. we filled this in with a load of topsoil @ 6-10". this one receives more sun to the point of wilting but is still techincally filtered shade. it is almost 3 feet tall. the other in the original clay in full shade to filtered is 1' tall and the blooms are a quarter the size of the one in replaced soil. i say in my circumstance, it is the soil making the difference b/c the roots penetrate better. funny, since they are less than 30 yards apart you wouldn't think there would be much diff.

It sure looks that way. And the best thing is that the taller ones are behind the less taller ones.
