I have a clump of woodland sunflower (helianthus strumosus) growing in a corner of my yard. It is in a part shade, dry to medium soil area surrounded by turf. I have heard that this plant is extremely invasive. Does anyone know if it is safe to leave it in this corner as long as I don't put any of it in a flower bed?
