Picture ID - 3 mystery hostas

Can anyone identify these three hostas?

I have a list of all my hostas, and I've matched most of them to the plants. A few of the names are unaccounted for.

The one that looks solid green might be radiant edger. It is not getting much light. Can it go solid green under those conditions? It is quite small.

The green one with the white margins could possibly be Saint Elmo's fire. I understand it can lose it's gold centers late in the season. Don't remember what it looked like earlier this year.

The yellow with the green margins is a complete mystery. But it is quite distinctive. Any ideas?

Hi,

The first one is Captain Kirk (no doubt about this one). The second one isn't Radiant Edger, but not really sure what it is. What size is it? The third one isn't St Elmo's Fire, but looks a bit like a young Emily Dickinson.

Wow, it DOES. At least in the Hosta Library photos, although what I have is much smaller. Hey, maybe this is it! I'll have to check it against the flower photos when it blooms. Thanks! Again, though, dang, you'd think the name would ring a bell... I've had surgery twice since last fall and each time, I swear, I wake up stupider. Thank You Forgot to add that when I bought them they were at our local grocery store, so I don't think they are anything specialty. I thought Halcyon too. Patriot sounds familiar. Can't figure the last one. Hope someone can. Can't believe how much they grew in three years. The benefits of mushroom compost I guess.

Hi Janice-- The hosta you think might be Undulata was planted on the side of my current house by the previous owner. The other two were planted by the owner of my last house...before we bought that house. Soon after we bought that house, we divided them up and they both grew so well while we were there, that we divided them, potted them up and brought them with us to this house. So, the bottom line is that we inherited those three varieties. My husband and I really like the two with the more mounding habit (the Royal Standard and the Erromena)...I'm not as wild about growing habit of the Undulata. if you have a list of names.. perhaps... you could list the names that you havent matched to a plant ...

we might be good at naming hosta... but it sure helps with a limited name pool .. as there are so many look alikes out there ..

if you want to save whirlwind .... in the first pic.. you better get second wind.. the green out of the plant.. i think SW is the darkest green hosta there is ....

the name RADIANT.. indicates to me.. that it should be such .. ergo ... it aint radiant.. so i would rule out that name ...

what about one of the tiara's???

the last one.. how mature is it????? it looks.. from color alone.. like undulata albo marginata in coloration .. but not size.. but if it is a new plant.. like only last summer.. i suppose it could be ..

I would agree on #2 as Golden Scepter - the distinctive veins are a good indicator.

I agree with 'Capt. Kirk' on the first one--exactly!!! :o) It will be a great multiplier, if it's like mine!!!

Thanks everyone! I think we got 2 out of three for sure. Captain Kirk is definitely it, I had mixed it up with another plant. I'm pretty sure about golden scepter. I have lots of them, and I divided some last year, so I must have put one in this spot and didn't remember. I didn't recognize it because it is young and all my other clumps are pretty mature. I uploaded by what I think is my Emily Dickenson (See link below) and it doesn't look at all like the other one. The photo is a bit dark. The margins are really creamier.
