Hi Scottfsmith Good that you said you are not sure what i am looking for. Sorry if i wrote it little hard way it. I have found shop which sell peaches. Red heaven was variety as i said earlier. So i started to look information about peach varieties. We here Finland do not have a lot of peach varieties available, i think this is quite new thing this Peach growing here. I have found shop in Italy which sells peach trees. In it internet site it says any plant anywhere on title and registration page has place to choose country. So i think they might ship it to here. On that site i saw peach varieties. Glohaven, Redhaven, Cardinal, Babygold 6, Springcrest, Springtime varieties was listed which are from U.S.A. (Many of them). Those varieties which i posted describtions above. So i did to search peach variety describtions english and then also italy language, which i translated to english using Google translate. I tried to get information about them, where they grow, how hardy they are, what they taste, when they bloom, oh and yes maturity timeline. Not much information available from mine country, but something. I asked some way does someone have own growing experiences. I have seen some post here about people growing peaches, i remember your old variety post, one people from Colorado asking peach varieties, i think she onemilehighgirl, sorry if i wrote id wrong (I think that came from woman) has Cresthaven peach and also that North Dakota people having peaches, altought he, Troman1973 id if i do not remember wrong last time i remember thought moving into blueberries. I found it hard to find some variety describtion on internet, especially Cardinal. Frost is little easier, but some hard finding there too. Cardinal variety From Georgia U.S.A. if i remember right. But found this on it : Cardinal medium fruit with bright red over yellow skin; flesh is yellow, firm with a melting texture; freestone from Georgia. Early midseason harvest. Springtime is white flesh peach. As i said i haven't tasted white flesh peach so i asked what is taste like. I have found now on internet they are sweet. Yellow flesh are more acidic. Can you tell me what "acidic" exactly mean? Is that same kind of flavor than red currants? Sour, no i think. What kind of acidicidy they are referring? Springtime, Springcrest varieties seems to be earlier than Red haven. I think it might cost more to buy trees from Italy, but if there is some good peach varieties it might be worth a try. Other choice would be just stay here and buy peach here. What you think about Peach hardiness? I have seen USDA zones and chilling units on internet. I have read that post on peaches here in Gardenweb, i think it make sense many ways. I have feeling that it is important peach to have enough time to ripens fruits and hardening to winter. As that post says hardiness is more than zone. Springcrest has 650 chilling units requirement and i have seen it to grow on the following places : Alto, Georgia, U.S.A (Ripens 5.6.-12.6. when i wrote that down, but looks like this information is no longer available.) . Brentwood, California, U.S.A. Also saw picture from Australia. This variety is for sell in New Zealand. I found Springcrest also to be in recommendations list in Georgia peach and nectarines for home use in different Georgia zones. Zones 4 and 5 says page, which is southern Georgia, U.S.A. for example Tifton, Geogia U.S.A. Realtor told my sister that her rose garden, perennial beds, blueberry patch, vegetable garden - all hindrances to selling because people worried about upkeep. She's 81 and did it all single handed but the purchasers have found they can't keep up with it and it has mostly gone back to weeds or is mowed. When we sold my parents' home, the first thing the buyers did was yank out the double lilac hedge along the road - now they get all the dust and noise from the traffic which, presumably, was what they wanted! They also mowed down all the roses and ditto the perennial beds. Lawn was what they wanted and cropped weeds was what they got. They did leave the Hopa crab in front which still stops traffic every spring but they mowed into oblivion the mat of grape hyacinths under it. Just as my neighbors carefully mowed a big swatch of primroses down by the stream until they had eradicated every one. Those primroses needed no care - just not to be mowed. But they had to go anyway. The same neighbors tried to eradicate the crocus in the front lawn but most of them were too small to hit the mower blades. What's with this obsession with grass?

You're welcome Sammy. You have to remember that any breeder of any type of plant can primarily only breed for resistance to the pressures of his/her climate. Visalia didn't have extreme disease pressures for decades. Mr. Moore selected his seedlings based upon health (where he was), ease of rooting, vigor and ease of growth own root, attractive appearance then any special characteristics he sought. These included stripes, mossing, decorative sepals like crested mosses and eventually the Halo trait. A very oft repeated admonishment was, "Create a good plant first. It's always easy to hang a pretty flower on it later." He played with many species, most often utilizing them with his brood of favored miniature breeders. Those he created with the above characteristics firmly in mind. Even with all that said, diseases mutated, climates changed and the rose continued to change the rules on him. He created a striped Rugosa hybrid with ruffled flowers he sent to Week's for evaluation. He was surprised to hear their reports that it was plagued by rust as that wasn't an issue in Visalia. The rose didn't demonstrate that issue there for several more years when there was appropriate weather to encourage the disease. It was very much the same situation reported about Joseph Pernet-Ducher when, about his Pernetianas, he was asked, "But, what about the black spot?" He responded, "WHAT black spot?" They didn't black spot where he developed and grew them. Black spot was really only an issue in the nursery, where thousands of small potted roses were grown, crowded in nursery flats on the tables, and then, usually only very early and very late in the year. Out in the open, or grown in pots with more beneficial spacing, even with the constant overhead irrigation, black spot was seldom an issue. When he raised roses which demonstrated unacceptable disease issues for him, he discarded them. His initial Bracteata hybrids can be plagued by rust in climates which foster the disease, but for him, there, they were clean. Out of Yesteryear, Star Dust and Out of the Night remain the healthiest of the bunch, followed by Pink Powderpuff, an amazing and truly beautiful climber. When I moved into a milder, damper climate, I found many of my favored breeders were no longer as healthy as I'd always found them. I polled other breeders, nursery owners and rose growers whose opinions I respect for suggestions of what to use instead. Mr. Moore's Cal Poly and Magic Wand were unanimous suggestions on every list. Both have been as healthy here as Strawn's Pink Petticoat. Of course, YMMV due to many factors and depending upon what diseases you're considering. In my climate, Linda Campbell is extremely healthy, but in higher disease pressure areas, she can develop slight mildew on new growth and a little black spot on her lower leaves. His My Stars has been reported to be very healthy everywhere I've heard people speak of it. It's half Playboy and half Basye's Legacy, and completely thornless. Legacy has been able to provide the rust resistance Playboy completely lacks in these parts. Resistance is honestly a very mixed bag. Dr. Buck bred for arctic hardiness as well as health, yet some of the many dozens of his roses I grew in my old Newhall garden were regularly ill from disease. A favorite I grew was Wandrin' Wind. I found the plant to be of exceptional beauty, and it completely defoliated from rust twice a year, as did most of the Morden series for me. Only a small handful of Hybrid Rugosas are worth growing in much of Southern California, mostly because of heavy rust infection. Healthy roses remain very climate specific. Kim

Great research and identity pairing. But I am still in belief that the true nummulariodes is still a different animal. I was introduced many many eyars ago to a hoya that was called H. sp.aff. nummularioides. This plant was very different looking than what the one called Geri = "nummularioides" = pubera and other names suggested by TG. The plant called aff. nummularioides had true coin-like leaves, rounded and like the size of grapes. Since TG had called what we grow today as nummularioides, the name aff. nummularioides was used. The flowers was somewhat similar but different and seasonal flowering also experienced. I do not know what happened to this species as I have not seen it again. But the plant alone resembled what you would call a "money" plant due to its nearly round thin leaves. I believe it is still out there but either in someone's collection as an unknown or hopefully still in the wild. It's a diminutive species so it could be less conspicuous than others.
