Golden Alexander

I need to replace a bunch of lamb's ears with other plants that will make a good border. (I've decided to go with gold/yellow accents rather than silver/white.) My /Growing and Propagating Wildflowers/ book says Golden Alexander is good for sun-light shade and it looks like just what I'm looking for--low-growing, attractive and bold foliage, and yellow flowers. A quick search on GardenWeb, though, shows that everyone is recommending it for shade. However, the areas where I want it are quite sunny. If you've grown Golden Alexander, tell me how it has performed for you. Does it tolerate full sun? Does the foliage stay attractive all season? Would it be good as a border plant? Is it easy from seed, or should I buy plants? Thanks! (And if anyone has some to trade, see my exchange page!) Kim
