Jack-in-the-pulpit question

Just1LittlePosey

I hired some workers to help me do a yard clean-up later this week (after 5 years of struggling on my own). While tagging some dead trees and nasty vines, I came upon a few Jack-in-the-pulpit sprouts. My question is: how hardy are they? Will they withstand foot traffic and possibly being run over by the chipper? That must sound ridiculous...but this is not a tended garden patch, just a spread of woods on the back of my property. Will it bounce back from some abuse, or should I dig up what's there and hold it in a potted "weigh station" while the work is done?
