Help! Any Arisaema dracontium experts out there?

We just discovered a new Arisaema in our woodland area. The flower looks a lot like the pictures of A. dracontium that I have found, but there is no large pair of overarching leaves, just several small, trifoliate leaves like a baby jack-in-the-pulpit. It is flowering now (flower is a dead ringer for A. dracontium). Do those great big leaves develop later, or is this an Asian species that has wandered into the yard (we live surrounded by rabid gardeners, so that is definitely a possibility). Thanks for any help!
