At first I thought it is a viola. Violas (johnny jump-ups, hearts-ease) can get leggy -- they tend to flop over when they get too tall. However, a closer look makes me think it's torenia, although the foliage isn't quite the same as on mine.

I'm not sure any of these plants are gesneriads. Most gesneriads aren't terribly succulent, but there are exceptions. The plant on the lower left does bear a resemblance to Columnea hirta "Light Prince," but it's very difficult, if not impossible to ID any Columnea that came without a name label. Once they get bigger and bloom it'll be much easier to ID these plants to at least the genus level, and Columnea sp. have very distinctive blooms. The plant on the lower right bears a slight resemblance to Primulina tamiana as well, but I do not think of the leaves as being succulent. This plant also has very distinctive blooms, so once it does flower it should be relatively easy to determine if it is in face P. tamiana. Mark

This succulent is a Haworthia limifolia, which is a lower light succulent (doesn't want direct sun). I needs a pot w/ a drainage hole w/out question, can be clay or plastic but MUST have drainage hole or this plant risks root rot. Also, pls. remove that mossy stuff on top, it's also conducive to rot. Nice plant, doesn't look 'down' to me, What do you mean by that? Lena

Just remember that different plants seeds have germination times. Don't throw all away because some of them may still germinate. For seeds I normally use a very small plastic container or box with a lid to keep the moist inside. When the seeds germinate, after a while, I move them to proper pots. Otherwise, if you use normal pots for the seeds, they take a lot of space and you will be looking at an empty pot for a long time! :)
