I have been searching nurseries EVERYWHERE for Dutchman's breeches for my husband. He finds them attractive and since he HATES my other dicentras (bleeding hearts) I would love to get him the DB's and put them where my bleeding hearts are right now (mainly to stop his b*tching about them) *wink* Have had no luck finding a single plant though. :o/

We too have mayapple, jacks, blue cohash and trout lily naturally in abundance so I think DB's would do ok here.

I found them at Big Dipper Farm (BigDipperFarm.com) for $6.99 last month. They were sent dormant, so I can't tell you anything about the plants, but Big Dipper Farm got a great rating from Dave's Garden (the Garden Watchdog). Good luck!
