Thanks for the pictures. Those are the pictures I have seen in the ads and online. So it is THAT green. They remind me of a Granny Smith Apple:). That is the green I like. I have seen the EverGreen one in a catalog I have and it is ALL green, but each bulb is $27 with shipping! The Green Dragon is not far behind in price, but it is a much bigger flower. But now that I think of it, the Green Dragon wont grow a second year, or forever in the south Fla. heat/sun will it? I just thought of that. Or am I wrong? Is it like the 'Christmas' amaryllis bulbs that give you a giant stalk or two of flowers, then thats it, it dies off in spring as soon as the heat hits? IF you live where it is to hot the Green Dragon is a one shot grower/bloomer...or am I wrong? The Evergreen looks like it would be like A Papilio type, that is evergren and grows all year, even in the Fla. heat. Is that right? I can only get one. Which do I buy? I grow the Papilios with ease,and they bloom all the time. But the Green Dragon looks like the 'Christmas' type amaryllis, that you buy for like $5 now at Lowes, and it blooms great for Christmas, and then thats it for south Fla. and other hot climates. The only amaryllis I see in the ground here in Ft.Lauderdale, let alone in pots, is a small red one, that blooms in the spring, with white stripes, and then the Papilios. Should I go for the Dragon or the EverGreen?

I seem to remember picking the fruits and putting them in a zip lock baggie with some water and mashing everything up and letting it sit for a while and then picking the seeds out of the mush. You might email or call PDN and see what they say.
