if you are really thinking about bringing it in for winter ... i would highly recommend talking to a high end nursery.. and treating the soil for bugs and whatnot.. BEFORE you bring it in ... you can probably squeeze in a few more weeks if you move the pot to the garage .. as its always better to treat outdoors ... i know a lot of peeps are anti systemic treatments ... but there is nothing worse than some plague of critters in your house.. during furnace season.. with no real ability to bug bomb the house ... i cant tell if the first plant is in the pot.. or an inground plant .... i wouldnt bother with potting an inground plant .. by the time it gets over all the transplant stresses ... bring indoor stresses.. etc ... it would probably be leafless by january ... frankly.. i would prbly not bother ... for lack of floorspace ... but you have to try it once... just dont have high hopes to get it thru winter.. but if you do.. plan a happy dance .... ken
