Thank you. I really did overdose mine so maybe it was just that. It changed windows but just from one in the front of the house to the other in the front of the house so shouldn't be too different. Check Jack's carefully if you don't want urea. I think it may have it. It appeared that I'd mostly used Peters 20-20-20 when I'd bothered, but my plants had been neglected for a long time. That Peters has urea and the Peters that doesn't is a bloom booster. Since I had enough Optimara to last a long time, I don't think I used it much. Which Dyna-Gro are you thinking of trying? I recently got the foliage pro and am afraid to use it on the variegated ones now. Maybe I'll just replace Modesty. I don't know if plants can go off that way or not. None ever did it before. Please do post with the flowers. Do you think they are blue? We think they are purple, although Lyons calls them dark blue (raspberry edge, ruffled). They are nice but it is one that I wouldn't mind if it didn't bloom. Thanks again for sharing that one. I don't think we see enough of it. Diana

Sherry, I'm getting way off topic, but here goes on your questions... My dad's side of the family settled Sevier County in central Utah. Mom's family moved to Central (near Richfield) and soon after she started at Richfield High school she met my dad when he returned from Iwo Jima. When first married they lived in Richfield. I was born at Fish Lake Lodge (almost 9,000') about 30 miles east of there in Fishlake Nat'l Forest. Since I spent so much time in the high mountains that's probably why I am so "up in the air" LOL, or at least why the arctic/alpine habitats are my favorite place to be. Besides the ranches and farms most of the businesses in the area were family owned, including up at the lake, and the family had a bunch of cabins and kept boats at the lake as well. So family reunions on Dad's side were always up at Fish Lake. Only pictures I could find of the lodge where I was born. It was built in the eraly 1930's with logs from the local forest and is on the west side of the lake. South end of the 1X6 mile lake from the NE side. One I found on-line looking south from the NW end. I picked it because it shows Bowery Haven, my uncles boat marina/tackle shop, cafe, rental cabins and travel trailer park in the foreground on the NW end of the lake. In my early teens I spent a couple of summers working for him running the marina, cooking, and doing repairs/upgrades. I stayed in my grandpa's travel trailer that he left parked there all summer and spent most of my off hours out in his 1940's mahogany wood Cris Craft Sportsman fishing, or at the world famous Fremont River just a few minutes away flyfishing. 2-5 pound Rainbow trout was the norm, and up to 35 pound Macinaw. Hi - new to the forums, but have been gardening for several years now. I have a shady back yard, and variegated Solomon's Seal looks great amid the solid hostas. Also have variegated petasites gigantea, a variegated porcelain vine (ampelopsis brevipedunculata), variegated lamium 'Hermann's Pride', variegated iris pallida, variegated liriope (yellow/green, and white/green), many variegated hosta (Frances Williams, Revolution, Remember Me, Night Before Xmas), variegated vinca, variegated ivy, variegated sedge, variegated morning glory foliage, several heucheras and hercherellas. That's the back yard. In front, I have the variegated iris again, miscanthus 'morning light', and am growing a first year actinidia kolomitka (kiwi) which should eventually be pink, white, and green leaves. I love the variegation to "punctuate" the sea of green. SusanLynne
