Through raising Monarch caterpillars, I find they prefer Swam over Common Milkweed. I'm looking for Ohio zone 5 native Milkweeds for 2019 planting in my own garden. Summer 2019 Project: 1000 Swamp Milkweed seedlings to the public.

Starting native milkweeds is not the same as starting a marigold or zinnia. If you don't really know what you're doing, best bet is to just buy a pot from a nursery and plant it. Otherwise, you're going to just waste your time.
