Here are a couple of pics of the babies - Rudbeckia 'Irish Eyes' and Rudbeckia Hirta 'Glorias Daisey' I believe that you gave me last Spring. A big THANKS to you!!

Great photos, what I am most impressed with is how neat your garden is. There is space between plants and I don't see any weeds. That is very impressive.

Glad to hear everything went well with your surgery! You are much more better behaved than I was, but then again didn't have spinal surgery either! Happy to report though, 1 week later and I am fully recovered :) Love your Schizanthus! Mine have just starting setting buds and can't wait to see them up close in person :) Those tomatoes will take off! This year my toms took off fast and it was cooler even this April/May then last year. I did bring a few of those wintersow containers back in a night for a few days to get germination, but they also went directly back out just after to continue doing their thing:) Take care of yourself, Vera

Thanks so much, everyone! I also tend to think she's VERY cute, but maybe I'm biased? Ahhh, yes, our new "child..." I have posted pictures previously of our "first born," our Shih-tzu, Murphy. Well, now Murphy has a furry new companion, a Shih-tzu brother named Bode (pronounced BO-dee.) As if our lives weren't chaotic enough with a new baby, why not add a puppy to the mix? Here is Bode... (sorry, the lighting was a bit bad, it's hard to see his eyes...) Here are Bode and big brother Murphy playing... AND... my big news... MAKENNA IS CRAWLING!! I simply must share this video. David...I knew that ladder looked familiar. :-) My DD went through a phase when she was fascinated with infomercials and everytime you would go by the TV she would have another one on. I remember seeing one of those ladders and always wanting one. I bet you get a lot of use out of it! I just went over and looked at what Amazon is advertising and the only 17ft ladder they had was the one linked below. So you are happy with yours? Do you find that you use it a lot, or is it one of those things that you keep doing things the way you have always done them and forget to use it? We once had a mama fruit bat and her four babies hit the window of our home... We had a covered front porch that I put them on, in a box with the lid partially open (I can't remember anymore...but it may have been rainy)...I went back out to check on them later and she was gone...and had taken one baby with her. Later she came back and took them one by one. I think when she hit the window it knocked her out..unless the play dead. But they must have all been okay. This happened during daylight. I was surprised that she was flying around during the day...do they do that? patti

Woo Hoo! Look how those babes have blossomed under your tender care! I am so happy they found a good home! I think we goofed on a name tag though- the Irish Eyes I have blooming have a light green eye that turns to a sandy buff green as it ages- and many have multi petals- almost double- we will have to get you some of those seeds!
I am quite impressed (and turning the slightest shade of green) with your photographic abilities! You have skills there girl! It is probably a good thing that I cannot post a photo- I don't know where to shove the developed photos into the web tv- as I would be a total pain then!
Aw- come on Sandy- show us some more!

Wow. The colors are just amazing! I didn't know rudbeckia came in any color besides yellow! "Need" List just keeps getting longer...

Julie - what do you think my babies are? I guess a few name tags could of been done in error, with the tons of plants you had that we were potting up and labeling. Julie is the master of growing seedlings.

These pics where a couple of my first pics with the digital camera. I am wearing the camera out. I have taken tons of pics of the garden (hardly anything else) and am doing my best not to inundate you all with pics.

Pauline - The area that these babies are in is new, so for now the area looks good. I hope to fill-er-up though!

Why thank you Sandy for the germinating compliment- although, any one who is crazy enough to start several hunderd types of seeds just because they have them- is bound to have some success- espicially with winter sowing.
Off the top of my head- I would think you have the Cherokee Sunset seed blend plants- I had so few of them and wanted to be sure you got some- I think your multi colored one is even more beautifully colored than any of mine came out! But to be sure- I will check the names against what I have growing that look similar, and verify with a google image search and get back to you.
I have um- several plants that lost their labels do to uh- several factors... tip overs and dumps- and looking at names and not putting the label in the correct pot, and maybe even forgetting to lable a pot or two when sowing..... That are living and thriving, darn them! I am getting so embarassed when I keep saying "I dunno" over and over again when asked "What's that?". Maybe when they bloom I can cross reference the spread sheet and finally lable them. Or- maybe when they bloom- I will realise they are all WEEDS! :)

Hey Sandy- In the second photo- the blossums in the back with the light centers ARE Irish Eyes! The ones in front with the dark brown eyes are obviously not-
