Anyone starting peppers this weekend around Chicago?

I'll be starting some banana, jalepenos, kung pao, and hot lemon peppers. Hear they take 1 1/2 - 2 weeks to germinate.

Will probably start some herbs for gifts as well as start my tomato experiment. I'll start a couple of late season maturity heirloom tomato plants to see if I can shave off 2-3 weeks off the end. I won't start the other tomatoes until 2-3 weeks from now.

Anyone else starting this early?
