Congratulations! That is wonderful. When we built our greenhouse, we went down to a friends, and she had one. So, my hubby built one for me as well. It is probably 15' long (the area that is heated), and has 2 levels. I haven't rigged up the lower level yet, though. I'm trying to figure out a way to put hoops over it and plastic over the hoops. It would be a greenhouse within a greenhouse, but would mean I wouldn't have to keep the temperatures up as high in the main greenhouse.

crdahlia, have you thought about attaching pipe brackets to the sides and bending pvc pipe over to hold plastic? My hubby built a frame of pvc for me, we just need to build the box under it now.

I had a lot of those cheap tomato cages that the big box stores have. I use the goods ones for pepper plants, but as they break, I save the rings. I plant in flats that have small pots inside. I can slide that ring down into the center of the tray, (side to side), between the pots, and the pots hold it in place, then I slide a plastic bag over the entire thing. I only use one ring in a tray because as soon as it germinates, I remove the plastic, but one ring holds the plastic up off of the soil until germination occurs. Glad makes a bag that is transparent and big enough to slide the tray into. I punch a few holes in the bag with a hole punch while it is still folded.

I have several trays with dome covers, but I always run out and have to use some of the ones described above.

I cut the legs of the cheap tomato cage and use them as stakes for other plants as well. I have used them a lot more since they broke than I did before the weld broke on them.
