oooh, am I going to regret this?

Hi, last year I planted several Bishop's Weed (Aegopodium podagraria 'Variegatum') in a shady perennial bed. I love their foliage and so far they look great. However, I have just figured out that many people consider this plant too aggressive (or even invasive). What have people's experience been? I'm hoping maybe in the colder climate and clay soil it might not be so bad. Is this a vain hope? Should I start pulling it out before it gets too out of control?

And why can't the nurseries warn us?

Thanks for the advice,

Ann
