Burn spots on the leaves

Please help!

I have a 6-year old maple located in a partially sun area (sun from 7 till 12). Every spring it has beautifully colored leaves. Later, in the spring, burn spots appears on the leaves. This has happened for few years now. I checked the leaves and didn't find any signs of insects, also I checked the Internet but did not find related problems. Could you please help me to define what is wrong with this maple.

i'm having the same problem. i have a tiny crimson queen cultivar that is placed on a shady patio. i don't water it very often since its soil is usually moist. i started misting the leaves at night, but it's just getting worse. almost all the leaves are getting crinkled and brown.

Yes exactly. I didn't want to bare root in Mid summer. I plan on bare rooting in spring right before buds leaf out. I didn't want to keep it in its original pcntainer because I didn't want it to dry up on a hot day. So I took it out of its pot and put it in gritty mix with root ball intact.

If I had to guess, I would say it is Mostera deliciosa with juvenile leaves. The veination looks more like Monstera. When the plant gets a little bigger, it may start to get the characteristic cuts and holes in the new leaves which is the adult form.

They like good light but not direct sun. The damaged leaves won't recover, you have to wait until new leaves grow.

I think you're dead on...Thanks, Agrant. Have to say, I've never had this issue before. Is it as serious as a blight? Glad I sprayed. Anything I should keep in mind or should I just try to clearn the plants and spray every 10 days or so? In the early season we had some really heavy rains that pushed dirt up onto the leaves, so that may have caused it.
