Major Move...Major Transplant Shock

I just moved from the clay/shade side of town, to the sun sun sun and sandy soil side of town.. AND, I brought 18 of my JM's with me (a huge variety of them). I put them all in the 'shadiest' areas possible, which still has pretty blinding sunlight in the afternoons.

Anyways, the leaves on my Ever Autumn are basically dead; my Crimson Queen is well on it's way to the same state. Several of my others are also getting sun scorch spots. Is it too late to create some sort of 'tents' out of burlap and acclimate them more? Could they die back a bit this year but come back okay next year?

I dug them in with peat and good topsoil, mixed with the natural sandy soil here. I added 'Mycorrhizal Life Support', and watered deeply for a couple days.

Any help really appreciated. Doing this mid-summer was not optimum, but I had no choice.

thx..
