Japanese Maples in West Virginia(several pictures)

I usual post in the conifer forum, but I thought people would like to see these pictures here. I live on top of a small mountain in West Virginia.

The first is a pic of acer p ÂSeiryuÂ. I have two of these and the second is later. By far the best maple in my garden.

Next is an acer p ÂOtome zakuraÂ.

Acer p ÂCoonara PygmyÂ

A ÂSkeeters broomÂ

Looking up through an acer shir. ÂAureumÂ

ÂTsuma gakiÂ

"Koto-no-itoÂ

Acer p ÂUkigumo and a ÂTamuke yama on the top of the boulders.

The maple in the center is acer p ÂSpring Delight and the red tree is ÂRed DragonÂ. The top of this boulder is about 15 feet off the ground.

An acer p ÂFiligreeÂ.

This next is a ÂMikawa Yatsubusa experiment. There was huge crack in the boulder that I sealed up and planted the tree. So far (5 years) OK.

Another ÂSeiryuÂ. A great plant.

Another experiment, but by Mother nature. An acer p seedling in a crack on the side of a boulder.
