rust staining on shelling beans

I like to grow shelling beans and have discovered that when I shell them, some of them (the white ones, can't tell with the black beans ;-)) have rust colored stains on them. I assume it is possibly from them touching the ground? I don't know, but my question is, is it something to be concerned about? Should I throw away the discolored ones, or is the discoloration just an aesthetic thing and go ahead and use them. I would really appreciate any info people have about this as it's been a concern of mine for several years.

thank you,

Pam
