What's wrong with this lily?

I have an oriental lily that is planted near my canada lily today when I looked ut the window I noticed it's discolores and the leaves near the bud are curled up here's some pictures I took (to be honest I'm more concerned for my canadian lily next to it)Thanks, Sarah

I'm no expert, so I hope you'll wait for a reply on the lily forum. (You're sure to get one.) But I wouldn't pull it yet. See if anyone knows what it is first.

It could be some kind of virus because you do have discoloration on some of the "healthy" leaves, but insects could also do this. Have you tried to poke around for bugs ?

I would let them bloom, but do check for insects.

Just some ideas that may be possibilities. When was the last time you looked at the roots. It just may need to have the roots trimed back and the soil replaced, or put into a larger pot. Try a liquid fertilizer if it is currently growing. Could it be getting a draft on one side. Good luck it looks like a terrfic plant. I haven't grown that plant in years.

Sounds like something has attack it's roots. If it's getting slimy, it's already done for. Was it attack by fungus? or was is exposed in alternately freeze and thaw cycles.. cells can be severely damaged by the extremes of winter?

Your lily has 'leaf scorch',it is caused when the plant grows very quickly and the roots are not developed enougth to support the shoot,some varieties are more suseptible than others.
In time it will grow out of it and it is no threat to your others.
