Just something that might be of interest to note.. there are certain experts who believe soy will kill your libido and who also tout that its not good for your bones either unless fermented and altered by microorganisms. Tofu is not fermented. check this. http://www.westonaprice.org/soy/index.html I have had damiana, and i found it to be a little harsh on the tummy. i get a little ache. I notice it does slightly improve mood, but be aware, its a MAO inhibitor, you cannot mix it near or with any tryptophan, tyrosine or levodopa foods and more. Learn about MAO herbs/drugs and there contra indications. I have had goat weed too, they do about the same for me. I am hearing good stuff about maca. I will try this in a few days. It is a hormone balancer and aphrod. and it is not a MAO so there are no contraindications. Maybe i can give up coffee.! :-)

I had Tena, Neveralla, Flanders and King for a year in Monroe, LA and then transplanted to central MS. All grew from a whip to over six feet during that first year. Tena gave up some nice figs. King dropped all the main crop but it's my understanding that we'll only get the breba anyway...??? No figs from Neveralla or Flanders but growth was fantastic for one year. I was late in the spring getting them in the ground here and haven't had much growth or figs from any. I have Genoa and Verino potted from cuttings now and will probably put in the ground this fall. Know nothing about how they will do here. Glenn

Try Dorman Red Raspberry or Baba Raspberry

Chrisms- Tried them last year with several other hot and humid types. Flavor was decent, but nothing special, and disease resistance seemed no better than others to me. This year I chucked the hot and humid types which generally, other than Arkansas Traveller, were nothing special taste-wise, and seemed to do not much if any better during the heat and humidity of the SC coast during July and August. This year I went for taste types and they've done as well if not better. I've had best luck with Eva Purple Ball, Cherokee Purple and Porter, all looking better at this time of year than any I've had and tasting much better than any before. So I'm not in any rush to plant Creole again....
