I would suggest that you go to Google Images and search for "Hydrangea". You'll get a lot of hits and it's not too difficult to scan the thumbnail pictures and then follow the links to the source if you see something that interests you.

That might be too many. I tried "Hydrangea Watercolor" and got fewer hits, but more in line with what you seem to want.

I'd also go to Ebay and search for Hydrangea.

Look at Dutch Artist Majolein Bastin Prints.
Many of her watercolor and paintings are of birds and flowers. I have some very nice prints she has done with hydrangeas. To get an idea of what she does look on Ebay for prints or even for her calenders. Hallmark stores carry her calenders and so does Borders. Her prints of any flower of nature are detailed and beautiful. If you use an appointment book they are also at Hallmark stores now for 2006. For small prints try again looking for her card selection at your local Hallmark store. They are frameable art. I stress there because they carry her yearly line. Hosta red.

I love Bastin's work, too! I have framed a number of her cards and always get asked where I bought them. I love her birds, butterflies and of course the flowers.

This is of course of no immediate help to you Blue Poppy, but this seems like a good thread to share this....2 years ago my niece drew my name for Christmas (we are a large family so we draw names instead of buying for everyone) and to my delight, my gift from her turned out to be a (approx) 14 x 16 framed, very finely needlepointed picture of hydrangeas that she made herself. Wish I was in a position to post a picture of it. It is beautiful, with a very soft washed out looking pallet not unlike a watercolor, not to mention a very thoughtful gift......How are you at needlepoint?.....I for one, don't have that kind of time and patience but I hear the winters are pretty long in zone 5!!!......yg
