Uh oh ... I think I better correct a mistake

About three years ago I planted a cute little ground cover along the edge of the stones of the old path we had. It never really took off like I thought it would, but every year would make a valiant effort to spread. I was just out there inspecting them since they were trampled by a bit by the teen boys and partly covered by the new path.

I just googled what I thought the name of the cute little ground cover was. Sure enough, there was a picture of it. It was definitely called baby tears. THEN I began reading horror stories about how it starts to spread, take over and slowly choke out everything in its path like some botanical science fiction movie.

I think, as cute as it is, I'm going to rip it out while I still can unless someone in NC can tell me that it isn't really a problem in our climate.
