Today we have lots of purple with EVENING DRAMA, EVENING TIDINGS and VISITING ROYALTY.

Visiting Royality is one that did not bloom for me last year so I was extra pleased to see the lovely blooms this year.

Visiting Royalty is like the "more blue" version of Romantic Evening. I like flowers where the color saturation fades at the edge as in Evening Tidings... lots of more buds and such clean foliage :)

I really like Visiting Royalty. I love the deep color saturation on it. The purple on the falls is so dark. It was worth the wait from last years no blooms to have these lovelies now.

wow!!! more gorgeous pictures for us to see.FAIRY TALE PINK is gorgeous. I have to look and see if mine even ha scapes on it yet. and I love the one you are calling RUSTY ROSE.I think its very pretty.and I love MIDNIGHT MAGIC. Love the dk reds.and love BEAUTIFUL EDGINGS, TOO mine has got scapes and buds, no blooms yet. now the zinnia's.I am like Rita.I love Zinnia's and yours is very very pretty,and the shot with the butterfly is gorgeous. Thats hard to do with the bigger butterflys.I managed to get a photo last year of a butterfly on a bloom, but,I had to keep following that thing every where before it stayed in one place long enough to get a photo of it. Thank you Mantis.yes, I will change that label later, I don't know what happened for me to put the wrong name on it. Had my mind elsewhere I guess.it surprised me when looking at preview and seen wrong name on it. debra, thank you for commenting. yea, these 3 are great bloomers, China bride had 3 or 4 rebloom scapes growing too,. I only see one rebloom scape on Beautiful edgings and I had 7 last year. 7 scapes,and 7 rebloom scapes last year.Was the same thing with wonder of it all, too. 7 scapes that bloomed then 7 rebloom scapes too.This year it has about 15 or so fans in that pot,and it had 14 scapes, but, so far, only 4 rebloom scapes.beautiful Edgings was the same thing, last year it had 7 scapes that bloomed then 7 rebloom scapes, too. These are all pretty and made even more so by being late. I like them all but I really like the form on 'Famous Last Words' so it's my favorite today. I wish I had been able to visit Ollalie's this time of year to see the lates, but as I said before they aren't open now on Tuesdays which is the only time I could go. So I am relying on you to show me their lates and I really appreciate your sharing these photos. (I still need to do a post with the photos I took at Olallie's last month). VT RR Red looks more orange than red to me....is it an orange blend? Celeste

They are beautiful, Rita! Nothing like a much awaited bloom. Visiting Royalty is a beauty, but I really like Evening Drama too. In fact, they are all my colors.

Visiting Royality was my own personal favorite of todays blooms, I just love its color.

Kay, I knew you would like these as they are purple and I know you love purple iris.

Yes indeed. I may have spaces for 10 new iris this year, and while casually looking through the iris websites, I have already have 58 that I am looking at. Now you know I can't do that again this year. But you also know I ill buy too many!

And you enabler you. Mine aren't blooming anymore (well maby 4 or 5) so of course I'm looking carefully...and Prague is on my gotta have it list!
