Acidic solutions to lower ph?

Just, curious, in lieu of using AlSO4 or sulfur to lower ph, can the ph be temporarily altered by watering with an acidic solution (say - weak vinegar and water or diluted orange juice)? My endless summer is currently pink and works well my landscape, but I am curious how a blue/purple shade would look but don't want to commit to blue for the rest of the season (or indefinite future).

I know this is probably a stretch, but seems like it may work. Any thoughts?
