Hoya Feeding Question

Hi Everyone,

I have a couple of hoya rubras that I just saved from my sister's cat-infested apartment. There is some leaf damage from the cats and still a few lingering bacterial/fungus spots from a bit of overwatering in the greenhouse where we purchased them. I have been treating them with a fungicide and following the regular regimen regarding light/watering. They are under lights in an east window. One of them has been flowering. The first few bloom clusters were very robust. Then, the other penduncles began flowering, but these are only producing three blooms or so per penduncle. Their recent trauma may explain this situation, but my question is: should I feed them while they are in bloom? I was advised by the grower to wait until spring, but seeing as it is in bloom, I thought I would pose the question here.

Thanks for any input.

Elizabeth
