Pink Hydrangea Tree ??

Greetings All !

Last year, I had a landscaper recommend to us something she called a "pink hydrangea tree". OK, so I googled a bit on that phrase... and I figure she must have meant one of the various varieties of "hydrangea paniculata".

Now, from some quick searches and reading, it seems like "pink diamond" is most popular. But it sounds like the flowers don't actually start turning pink until fall.

Other varieties that I've seen mentioned that SOUND like they might be pink are:

Pink Cloud

Pink Wave

Burgundy Lace (description on one site made it sound pink)

Does anybody know if any of these varieties produce flowers that are actually pink most of the time? Or do they all spend a good chunk of time as greenish-white and only start turning pink in the fall?

Hoping I can figure out which one I want soon and start hunting for a local supplier.

Thanks!
