First thing is to see if it is constant. Variegated forms often produce non-green sections among a much larger proportion of green-and-white (or green-and-yellow foliage). Getting a propagation as extreme as yours to stay all yellow for years is another matter.

fNow how cool is that!. Thanks Babka, I'll not include it with the other Munchkins, and then hope for the best. With these really small hosta, I've had better luck putting them together in bowls, but of course labeled individually. This one, I might put in the bowl with smaller hosta that did not look good in their small pots alone. I think the lack of mass allowed them to dry out and the heat penetrated the pot to their detriment. Really, this is a big treat for me to have a sport. And from Masquerade too, which I've long admired but tried and tried to grow and it kept disappearing on me. Then this spring, one pot with about 3 Masquerades in it, my last attempt to grow it, flourished and now has produced my first sport. Gee, I'm pleased. But.....why could it not have been something like Sagae!!!! :)

Phil, they probably will unless you do something to keep them going on the path they are on and if you excise they are likely to revert also. The difference is if you leave them on the mother plant they are more likely to revert to the original, how hard do you want to work to get something different. They are always trying to get back to green, if you leave a green eye the plant is more likely to become all green, they don't want to be varigated so you must work at it.

The first has bloomed now, and I've posted pictures. I'm doing a time lapse video of these growing, so I think I have the light too far away to accommodate the cameras. They are under a 7" humidity dome, and the light is on top. If I didn't have to accommodate the cameras, I'd put the light about an inch or two away from the top of the plant.
