Marcia, I have 'Honey Bells' hosta also. I like the large shiny green leaves on it. Last week I went shopping at Lindenberg's. In store they are clearing out their perennials at 40% off. So, I bought... Supreme Sultan TB iris... $2.39 regularly $3.99. American Halo, Fair Maiden, Sleeping Beauty and Sea Lotus Leaf Hostas all $3.29 each instead of $5.49. First Frost, Summer Breeze and Great Arrival Hostas all $5.09 instead of $8.49. Monarch's Velvet Potentilla followed me home also for $2.99 instead of $4.99. I also picked up some Japanese peonies for $10.19 instead of $16.99. I bought Kukenu Jishia, Bride's Dream and Glowing Candles. The herbacious peonies I bought were Springfield, Eden's Perfume, Kansas, Laura Desert, Tom Eckhart, Pink Cameo and Edulis Superba. They were reg $6.99 and I paid $4.19. Daylilies...I will plant and hope that they are true...if not then I may just have to give them away or sell really cheap. I bought Black Stockings, Fire and Fog and Moroccan Sunrise all regularly $7.99 and now on for $4.79. The daylilies that were regularly $5.99 and on for $3.59 that I picked up were Edge of Darkness, Cherry Valentine, Canadian Border Patrol, Paige Pinata and Daring Deception. Each year I go and get stuff at their clearance sale. Sure is a lot cheaper. They are bare root so I just plant them up immediately and they do fine. Thank goodness perennials can grow in a pot until I have time to plant them. I have done some cleaning through the beds and found a few spaces already and the rest are going to be placed in my new walking garden where the old holding garden used to be. Brenda

I have received mine. I actually got it about a week ago. We have really been getting hit with flooding this week after those 8 foot banks of snow melted back the day we actually got a 60 degree day. I haven't gotten around to posting that I received it. Our basement flooded and we are having septic problems from the water tables being so high. I did let Tina know by email as soon as I got it to thank her. It is now cold again so things are back to normal for us. Tina sent a fabulous box and was very thoughtful about everything she sent. She actually baked me cookies-which were very good!!! I think they lasted maybe the day in this house. they were chocolate chip! I loved this because I never get to bake anymore now that we are starting a major kitchen redo. Tina also sent my kids hot cocoa. Came in handy big time as I kept getting scolded by my 7 year old that there wasn't anymore and I kept forgetting ot run out to get some. It is now snowing again and half the box is already gone from playing outside. Can't play outside without coming in to hot cocoa! She sent me flavored coffee! I just love my cup of joe. Yes I am a coffee junkie. I have already sampled that as you could imagine. The last of the treats was a box of those yummy new hershey dark chocolates with the blueberries and other fruits. Very yummy! These I kept out for myself. Now for the other goodies...tina sent not one but two toad houses! My daughter snagged one right away for her zoo garden. She let me keep the one with the snail on it cause she knows I like snails. She also sent very nice bath stuff with a handmade washcloth-that has already been used as well,a yummy smelling cinnabun candle, and a very nice card. Thank you again Tina for a wonderful box. I think I am going down to make some more of that coffee. Snowing again today with 6 inches and more. Well we had spring for a day at least. Maybe I will wintersow some things today.~Heather

Canna - I've been touring the many hand crafted shops here in tourist land [Shakespearean Theatre] for info on what's selling best and discovered that PAINTED ROCKS sell like hotcakes. The ones I saw for sale were NOT as beautifully done as yours (of course we all KNOW you are a truley gifted artist) and are selling for $35-$60+. Thanks so much for the Hellebore and Malea's photos - both brought me joy. Jean - Your wonderful Lily photos are helping with the wait for flowers - thanks! I know how you feel - I've been going through my photos & even going to flower shops to help keep the winter blah's away, too... My yellow Flag iris' are holding on in their pots and I send you a great big smile whenever I check on 'em. I searched the web for info on epiphyllium's - all I find are photos of the exquisite flowers but I'd love to know what the plant itself looks like - do any of you have photos of yours?
