Hoya kerrii? carnosa?
Comments (10)It's kind of a moot point anyway, since I went back and got the plant today. But yeah, I do tend to think that it's probably a lacunosa -- it's one of very few Hoyas I've managed to find that had heart-shaped leaves (there's a pretty good likeness at www.myhoyas.com, one of the pictures, which I found through maidinmontana's thread), and my understanding is that lacunosa is one of the more commonly available Hoya species. I went with the all-green one. Normally I like a little variegation, but this particular plant is nice-looking without. Thanks for the responses....See Moremy hoya kerrii is putting out leaves
Comments (5)My experience w/ green H kerrii is that it's quite happy to grow all year long (I grow indoors only). Mine loves to grow long bare vines in Spring & then fill in afterwards. Reverse Kerrii is another story altogether -- in 2.5 yrs. I've had the cutting, it has grown TWO leaves, both deformed in shape. My variegated Kerri grows Hydro & seems to have slowed down for Winter (I only got it in Oct. 08, so am still new to its winter habits). All green H Kerrii is one of the most vigorous Hoyas I've had to date. Don't be surprised if it keeps growing all winter....See MoreLooking for kerrii hoya cutting
