My kerrii does connect to the stem at the point not dent of the heart. Check out the below link an see if any of the foliage looks similar

There is a heart shaped lacunosa leaf that is the way you describe

It's kind of a moot point anyway, since I went back and got the plant today. But yeah, I do tend to think that it's probably a lacunosa -- it's one of very few Hoyas I've managed to find that had heart-shaped leaves (there's a pretty good likeness at www.myhoyas.com, one of the pictures, which I found through maidinmontana's thread), and my understanding is that lacunosa is one of the more commonly available Hoya species.

I went with the all-green one. Normally I like a little variegation, but this particular plant is nice-looking without.

Well, how big or small are the leaves?

They're fairly small -- one of the biggest ones measured two inches (5 cm) long and 2 inches across. Most of them are closer to 1 1/2 inches (4 cm) long. With a few exceptions, the length and width tend to be the same.

Then, I think the same as you, that it's a lacunosa. I think people call this one that you are talking about "H. lacunosa heartshaped leaf" But don't know the real name. I have the regular one and 'tove'

It's at least very close; I suspect they're the same. The picture at the Tradera site is also very similar, though mine doesn't have any roots at the nodes.

I just went and looked at it again -- a few of the leaves have small silvery flecks on them. Does that help anybody?

no, alot of hoyas have those silvery flecks. Yours is probably a carnosa cultivar like Mr A's...very cool looking hoya, I am hoping to run across one myself.
