I just saw this on a gardening website and fell in love. If anyone has a cutting or a plant they'd like to share, I can trade some of my very large, very hardy green hosta or my slightly smaller variegated white and green hosta... or anything on my list. Thanks!

Gardenstown, no, that's not part of their normal life cycle. They should "viridesce" (that is, turn green after being white for a while) but they shouldn't be dying back. I'm very fond of mine, now in its second year, and so you have my sympathy. In your shoes, I might rush out and plant them in the shade in hopes that they will live - but maybe that would shock them more. I'm not expert. I'm not an expert photographer, either; the morning light glares on the 'White Feather' and the white dogwood here, sorry. STOP!!!!!! its a recent transplant.. and if you keep moving it.. it will never get its roots moving water .... exactly what are you expecting it will do in one month .... perhaps your expectations are too high .... i NEVER expect anything from a first year plant.. other than it living .... in no location you have tried.. has it been there long enough to get used to it ... make your last choice .. or leave it there.. and water the heck out of it ... personally ... in my experience .. pots are the worst option .... others will disagree ... the real key here is... TO BUY ANOTHER HOSTA TO FIXATE ON .. so this one will have a chance to get established.... lol good luck ken
