Weird double post

I am sure there are computer literate types out there who can explain this. I don't get it. Last night (Tuesday night) in the "2007 Ruby-Throated Migration Map" thread I posted a follow-up about test tube feeders. I logged in again, tonight, and found that my followup was posted twice--mine, then one from Penny, then the same one from me again. I don't know how that happened or how I could have caused it. When I came on tonight, I noticed that I had forgotten to log off, so I just hit the refresh button on the hummingbird forum screen. I got some sort of message about post data, so then entered the website address again and re-entered the site. When I looked at the migration map thread I found my entry twice. Did I do that? Please understand that I'm not some sort of strange egomaniac deliberately posting the same message twice. The time of the second posting coincides with my log-in time, so it seems like I must have done something, but I don't know what it was. Weird.

Can anyone explain how this would happen?
