Both are available and I've ordered 3 of each :-). If you want larger plants then hurry and order a few from Natures Reign "Emile and Jane". What most of the other nurseries will receive it small liners like Josh mentioned. The mouse named ones I have thus far are: Blue Mouse Ears (of course!) Green Mouse Ears Frosted Mouse Ears Holy Mouse Ears Mighty Mouse Cat And Mouse Mouse Tracks Country Mouse (as said, not a BME sport) And coming within the next couple weeks, Royal Mouse Ears. I plan to make a bed of miniature and small hostas sometime in the future, and mix in some miniature perennials and maybe some conifers as well, and maybe a dwarf Japanese maple too. The mice will get grouped together, the others just mixed about in the bed. The spot I have in mind will be between two silver maples, but it will be a raised bed, perhaps two-tiered, with a thick layer of landscape cloth to keep the tree roots from making their way into the bed. This may be next spring's project. The maples have been limbed up, so I'll get plenty of light shade, dappled with sun, so I think everything should be happy. Karen

The Mugo Pine: I had one at my other house that I planted and I am well aware that they should be candled. My plant was very healthy looking and quite nice. This one at this house is over 40 years old and I trim out the dead every spring (all 3 springs) and cut away branches. When I first moved here, you couldn't even see underneath of it. This summer has been so dry that the dead bits are increasing and I certainly cannot reach the top to candle it. I have been considering doing something with the leftover trunk pieces if I cut it down. I will definitely google 'limb it up'. Thanks for the advice and encouragement. Ken, my title was meant to convey the content of the post, names of my 100 hostas plus some pics; sorry it was unclear. The list that I posted only has 99 names as I forgot to include Golden Meadows. Incidentally after today, it is 102. Today I purchased Emerald Necklace and Smooth Sailing (we have a sailboat so I wanted my DH to feel included!). Now I wait with much anticipation until my hostas mature so I can see what they will look like in my particular conditions. Lee Valley has several options, the one that I have is inexpensive but it takes some time to set up, however; after that is it very easy. I leave mine outside all winter, too. I used the exact same one all around the perimeter of my deck at my other house as I had 50 odds pots of plants; so this system is about 10 years old and still going strong. Thanks again! Paula

I just got off the phone with Klehm Song Sparrow Nursery and they were able to give me an order history either by phone or by e mail. Order history cannot be done through their website. Anyway, I didn't buy this mystery plant though I do think that I may have gotten a 'Holy Mouse Ears', as per Babka's great photos. I will have to reprint the tag with the 'Holy Mouse Ears' on it. Still trying to figure out how I got 1, maybe when they grow all these 'Mouse Ear' series they are grown closely together and this one hitched a ride with the 'Frosted Mouse Ears'.?
