Eradicating Canadian Thistle

Someone mentioned Canadian Thistle in another post, but I feared wouldn't see this advice unless I posted anew.

I've successfully rid my gardens of CT without harming anything else. I dip a rag in a bowl of Roundup, ring it out well (so no Roundup drips where it's not wanted), then "wash" the Canadian Thistle with the rag. I've used the same technique on poison ivy which was entangled in an azalea bush. I used the technique first when thistle had invaded pachysandra; I got rid of the thistle and the pachy thrived.

Give it a try! Everyone who's taken my advice thanked me. Nance
