My hosta in pots

I did what what the forum said to do with my hosta in pots. Put lots of mulch on them and laid they sideways on the north side of the house and also on the east side for the winter. Our snow has been gone for over a month and everything else is at least two weeks early. I checked the hosta pots and most are up at least a couple of inches or more. I did water them today and have them sitting on the front porch facing the north. MOST of the mulch is still on the pots. Hosta is also emerging from the ground. We had a wicked January & February. All the daffodils are in bloom along with the crocus. All the ground cover in my beds are green and showing nicely along with the Lenten Rose in blossom. I am praying we don't get anything too severe. Is there anything more I can do?
