Oh, no, They're back!

For the last 5 years we've had a pair of Cooper Hawks (chicken hawks) nesting in our yard. Two years ago they nested in a pine tree above one of my hosta gardens and it was terrible. I was out there nearly every day hosing down their really big droppings, and they dropped the skeletal remains of their meals into the garden. Last year they chose a new site and I was thrilled. These hawks build several nests and then choose where to raise their young. I hoped and hoped and hoped they would go to another nest, but sure enough, they are back above the hostas. As if the slugs weren't pests enough!!
