Hosta I 2015
Comments (41)Thanks Jo and thanks Hostatakeover for your compliments! I was surprised to learn that Island Breeze was not yet in the Hosta Library. As to Hosta Choice's comments, I don't think of IB being similar to Rainforest Sunrise. As for Glenn's prediction of IB becoming a HOTY, well, who knows. He might be right! My impression of this hosta (from just one season) is that it is going to be good, strong grower. It is quite a nice looking hosta. I see a note on the Hosta Library's front page that hundreds of new photos are being added at present. I am pretty sure that IB will be included soon. If not, I may send in a couple of photos....See MoreHosta Lakesides 2015
Comments (58)I have a Lakeside Black Satin that Myrle ( of all people) was having a hard time getting to grow so she brought it down for me to give it a shot. Low and behold loved the quiet time and has grown considerable and may even be large enough to share with her this season...See MoreHosta T 2015
Comments (55)I'm sure Touch of Class won't disappoint you, josephines161 ! It's always neat, tasteful and classy. A little English lord in the garden, well-dressed and well behaved. I grow it next to Halcyon and May. The King is a star. I also got The Queen last August, but it looks like Thumbelina next to her royal husband. *sigh*...See MoreHosta Companions 2015

Gold Heart Bleeding Heart behind-right of the hosta. Maybe more later....See Moredonrawson
