FFO on a couple new arrivals

I got these last month and they quickly set up scapes. Illusionist bloomed this morning so I ran out and got a quick pic before the rain.

The other, Ledgewood Jump Start actually bloomed earlier in the week, but the internet has been spotty here the last few days, so I couldn't post earlier.

Lisa,Ledgewood's Jumpstart was a great one for me this year, and a re-bloomer as well. A real beauty as is evident from your photo.

Rick, I think that they are nice for FFO's. TFFKA Griff is really pretty, ive liked that one ever since I saw it on Charlotte's website, but there are not too many places that sell it. Other than my Stellas, ive only had two others blooming so far too. I think the weather man said it is supposed to be 100 degrees here today, so we will see how Mildred Mitchell (FFO) holds up in the heat today. I hope it dosen't melt, my husband hasen't seen her yet, and won't untill he gets home from work. I enjoyed your pics! We may be off to a slow start here in the North east, but there is lots more beauty to come!!! -Jessica

Thanks for the comments. I don't mind NOID's either if they are pretty. However, that first picture is of a NOID that I have had 4 or 5 years, and it has just never grown on me. It is actually darker than the picture shows. But the sun was shining and it had a nice satiny (there's that word again) look to it. Kathy, the temperatures in southern Indiana are staying pretty consistently in the 80's now. I think we are finally feeling summer coming on. HG is very nice when it opens all the way. Rita, I have that second NOID next to buttered popcorn and you should see them compete:) They both just keep going and going and going. They are about the same height, so they compliment each other. Ann, HG is new to my garden but I already love it, even it yellow isn't my favorite color. Jean, I hope you post your diamond dusted one, I'd love to see it. Maybe you already have. I need to check the other posts. Vickie

It did not bloom its first year here, but it was a rough year. We'll see what next year brings.

Mantis-I think I only got lucky as it didn't get here until the dry hot spell was over! I had several that didn't bloom.

How nice! And only from last month!
In my last order, a few days ago, one (Song Writer) was with a scape, but it's so cold here already, I think I'll have to cut it :(

I like them both, but if I had to pick a favorite I'd choose Ledgewood Jump Start - what an eye!

Congrats!! on your new FFO blooms both are gorgeous but I agree with Kathy Ledgewood Jump Start is a real stunner.
