They all look like they have potential. I'll bet HG is a beauty when it is fully open. What are the temps there now? It is in the 90's here...miserable.

Rick, I think that they are nice for FFO's. TFFKA Griff is really pretty, ive liked that one ever since I saw it on Charlotte's website, but there are not too many places that sell it. Other than my Stellas, ive only had two others blooming so far too. I think the weather man said it is supposed to be 100 degrees here today, so we will see how Mildred Mitchell (FFO) holds up in the heat today. I hope it dosen't melt, my husband hasen't seen her yet, and won't untill he gets home from work. I enjoyed your pics! We may be off to a slow start here in the North east, but there is lots more beauty to come!!! -Jessica

Glad you liked the photos Debra and Jan! Debra - I really enjoyed the open garden tour, but I can't imagine having to deadhead a thousand daylilies! If you're interested, I have some more long shots of the garden that I didn't post because you can't see the daylilies that well, but you can see the overall layout better. I just got Mystic Mariner last fall and this is it's first season here, but I think it's going to be a favorite for me too! I hope All American Baby blooms for you - it's another of my favorites. I sometimes wish they were bigger too, but they are very cute the size they are. Juliet

Donna, I looked up SW and I don't believe that's it, the color is to light. Pardon Me is close but still not the same intense plum/magenta color. Thanks. lalalandi, the NOID is not related to the seedling. That seedling and its siblings will stay in my garden because of the great branching and bud count. As for the NOID, this is the first year in my garden and I don't even know if it is a dip or tet so until I do I can't use it for hybridizing. I will try it on each this summer. It is an awesome colour so will definitely stay in my garden. The bc is only 8 and 2wb but this is only the first year here. Marg

Julia, I usually have 3 1/2 or more months of blooms, but only two months of heavy bloom. I am still findind plants that have pu tjust put up rebloom scapes. . Late April to mid-September is the longest season, I remember having but I have actually have had a few blooms in October. September is generally hot here and we usually do not really have a freeze until November. If we get adequate rain, the rebloom scapes seem to increase. Kate has a long season too, and outs are just offset a bit since I am further south than she is. I am much less diligent at photo taking now as is usual. I miss some clumps, and occasionally a first bloom. It is just the weather. kay

Heck, nothing wrong with No Ids, I have quite afew of them myself. I especially like the second one, love that coral tangerine orange color.

I agree with Rita.Nothing wrong with No Ids.I have a few of them ,too and some are really pretty. I had a new one bloom today was so pretty,and with a closer look at it,it was Diamond Dusted, too.

Thanks for the comments. I don't mind NOID's either if they are pretty. However, that first picture is of a NOID that I have had 4 or 5 years, and it has just never grown on me. It is actually darker than the picture shows. But the sun was shining and it had a nice satiny (there's that word again) look to it.

Kathy, the temperatures in southern Indiana are staying pretty consistently in the 80's now. I think we are finally feeling summer coming on. HG is very nice when it opens all the way.

Rita, I have that second NOID next to buttered popcorn and you should see them compete:) They both just keep going and going and going. They are about the same height, so they compliment each other.

Ann, HG is new to my garden but I already love it, even it yellow isn't my favorite color.

Jean, I hope you post your diamond dusted one, I'd love to see it. Maybe you already have. I need to check the other posts.
