Any daylily flowers this time of year are a true joy and yours are really lovely. I just love Katrina Heroes. What a lovely flower. Beautiful color and pattern with just enough edge. Stunning!

FINAL TOUCH looks more pink and less lavender purple today, but it is still lovely. It is my favorite of these.

Are those 'Clara Curtis' daisy chrysanthemums? I have those but mine are a couple weeks behind yours and aren't
blooming yet. I like that they are the very last thing I have blooming in my yard and last into October. I am so happy to see a 'real life' photo of Katrina Heroes. I have that one from Maryott's but it got planted too late to bloom this year. Yours is very lovely and I'm excited I got it.

Final Touch's flowers got smaller and paler, but it still has several buds to go.
Yes, Celeste, those are Clara Curtis! I really like them, and that's why they are still there, though I'd better put a daylily or two in their place, because they are getting so big. Another thing is that they attract rain, when they all open :) After the rain they look very sad. But I still like them a lot, so I'll keep them.
Judy, my Happy Returns sent up another scape! Only one this time though, it's going to be it's third rebloom (weather permitting)

Do you find that your Clara Curtis daisies are very invasive? Mine are spreading like wildfire and are hard to keep under control and pop up everywhere. I do love them because they give that late color when there's nothing else blooming so late. I wonder why yours are so ahead of mine? Mine are still green buds and probably won't open for another couple weeks. I do like that they bloom even after the hard frosts and everything is brown & dead. But you're right...they do flop after it rains.

All colorful beauties! So nice to see daylilies at this time of year. I think my favorite is KH's but the color on FT is so sweet looking, like one of those striped popsicles!

You know, I just realized that the little species DLs in my yard only bloomed once this year. :( They usually bloom 3 times! Such an odd couple of years we have had here weather wise.

Katrina Heroes is stunning and my favorite. Final Touch looks great too.

We too have experienced warm days and evenings but it is suppose to end for a few days and get cool but not for long.

Oh my, it is! This April I divided it and gave away almost everything, except for 2 tiny plants. Well, look (I also like mirabilis and give it some room behind Clara C.)

As for why mine are ahead of yours, maybe because it's colder here and they wanna flower while they still can? :) I actually don't remember them flowering after frost, I need to pay more attention this year.

Nice blooms, Katrina Heroes is a great one. Love the mums too!! They just give color at a 'down' time. Beautiful Edgings hangs around for me well into October with a bloom here and there.
