I have visited the forum regularly, but have never posted. I thought it was time I learned how, so here is a pic (I hope) of Loyalist.

Welcome Junco,
That's a pretty nice Loyalist. Good growth for a white centered variety.

Here's a small Luna Moth

And Love Pat also first year, but putting on some extra growth in August.

Lakeside Full Tide....leaf in July Lakeside Full Tide....same day in July Lakeside Kaleidoscope....got it in Sept 2011, so one of my older hosta Lakeside Paisley Print Lakeside Pebbles....tough little guy which I kept with King of Spades and Rhino Hide for awhile--the "three amigos".... Lakeside Small Fry....it was doing fine and then fire ants invaded the trough it was in. Set it back late in the season. Shown here to the right of Itty Bitty, a wee mousey And for the heck of it, here is LS Pebbles again, with all his buddies, hanging out in the courtyard

I decided to post some of the pictures with the plant in the garden. I use to like seeing Papou's plants in the garden to give me an idea of what they could look like. It always surprises me that I can read the description of one I have never seen but get such a wrong impression of what size it will be. Nothing like Julie's but interesting light. Has anyone tried crossing a hosta with an Iris?

A couple years ago I asked Glenn Wilson (Hosta Choice Nursery) if there was a bright green hosta. He suggested this one and it seems to be just perfect. Now my question to Hosta breeders is why aren't there more solid bright green hostas? They would find a market in my garden.

I keep waiting to have the "only" one of a kind in this alphabet soup, and it ain't gonna happen. But here is my Lederhosen as it looks this Feb.

bkay - the Love Pat is 5 years old. It looked pretty similar last year. I also have Abiqua Drinking Gourd. They were bought the same year. ADG is SO much smaller. One thing I did with Love Pat was plant it for the first 2 years in sun on the west side of my house. It did seem to give it a good start and I was surprised that with all the sun over there it held onto the blue pretty well.
