I found a source for Obscura cuttings. I am still interested in Serpens particularly. If anyone else would like to trade but doesn't have what I am looking for then I would consider any other Hoya that I do not already have. - Thanks for the consideration David

Mine bloomed one flower cluster last year, developed more peduncles that did nothing. In Jan., the peduncles started to develop, then blasted at some point. Now I see a couple starting to develop again - we'll see what happens. Hope we both get them this time! Denise in Omaha

I think the fertilizer you got will be fine. A balanced fertilizer is good for all around growth and flowering. A fertilizer with a high first number has more Nitrogen and is used for growth but can inhibit flowering in certain plants and overuse can cause growth that is attractive to insect pests. Fertilizers with a high middle number have high Phosphorus and are often called bloom boosters for their abilities to bring plants into bloom or to increase bloom size or numbers but Phosphorus also helps with root growth. I always mix fertilizer at only half the strength recommended on the bottle unless it was designed for epiphytes like orchids. Mike

I would just wait until it is in need of watering, and then spray lightly with the spray of water. If that doesn't do it, and it still bothers you, you could just take a Q-Tip and rub them lightly. Marcy
