Oil of Olay Total Effects with SPF 15. I use it every day. If I'm wearing full-on makeup that day, I mix it with my liquid foundation for a light, sheer coverage. I have been using the Total Effects at night too, but I'm thinking of switching to Regenerist at night.

I think most all lotions are ok, but get your skin wet before you apply what you use. It is moisture your skin lacks not oils and lotions...the lotion will lock in the moisture. Lotions can make the dryness worse without the moisture applied first. You should avoid fragrances, urea, lactic acid and ammonium lactate in your lotions. My SIL's allergist said "women would have less skin problems if they used Moisterlle". Not sure of the spelling on that. My sis's doc recommended Aveeno products. Also if you use oils in your bath get wet first then put the oil in the tub.

Kim, I thought the same thing about Dove Pro Age. I'm going back to Dove for sensitive skin. Sue, I've been using moisturizers since I was 16, and I'm not stopping now! :-) Paula, those serum products are interesting. I haven't tried the Regenerist, but my daughter bought me one from Estee Lauder. I don't know if it's doing anything for my skin long-term, but it makes it feel like velvet. I also liked a sample of a Clinique serum that I tried.

Not to hijack, but in addition to age spots on my hands, I've noticed this year that on my legs I now have these white spots (appears to be loss of pigmentation). These areas are smaller than a pencil eraser and when I do get a little sun at the pool, they will not tan but appear very white. What are these? I always wear at least a 15 spf, but I have an olive complexion and literally tan just by being out in the sun in 30 minutes with sunscreen. I never ever get sunburned, just tan. So what's up with these white spots?
