i DID INJOY LOOKING, very much.You have some beauties here. Thats the best picture I htink I have ever seen of SHORES OF TIME. I love the name also on HILLBILLY HEART. and I love BIG SMILE.It looks alot like Beautiful edgings that I want so bad, so thi dsone is gorgeous, too.

Just wonderful to see new ones in bloom, isn't it? I love Sp. Sea Shells every time I see it. The green on the second Paul Owen seedling really looks nice. A guy at work wanted a green daylily and I told him that most are yellow with a greenish cast. Well, this one appears to be as close to green as I've seen. Vickie

Thanks Avedon! W. Homestead is probably thanking me for moving it. It was getting too much shade, so I moved it a couple of years ago. It did ok last year, maybe revving up for this year. Julia,Hint of Blue normally really blooms well, it looked pretty good today, but doesn't look like blooms will last long this year. Mantis, Heartbeat of Heaven does look like a possibility for the NOID, the stats pretty well match up. Thanks Kay , Sherry I really like the shape of the blooms on Motown Blues, they always seem photogenic. My fake Siloam will stay here, I quite like it. Debra, I'm quite thrilled with W. Homestead, rarely do I get that much bloom from a plant.

What pretty ones you have blooming in August! We got a lot of rain over a week, I thought sure I would see some rebloom scapes, but not so far. Wait, I take that back, Soli Deo Gloria I think is getting one. I say think because it might be a new leaf or something. I always love the look of Barbara Mandrell, it died in my garden not long after arriving. When I learned that it is often not pretty, I decided I did not need it anyway. I can admire your pics though. Peppy looks really good, and how nice to have depwndable rebloom on Possession of Obsession

The picture with Purple Passions Promise and the Blues Project grabbed my eye, of course. Love the pink seedling! I thought I heard either Japanese beetles or June bugs buzzing off when I took out a Grape Vine in my blackberries. Never actually saw one, so now I am wondering if it could have been something else. They usually love my blackberries just as they get good and sweet, grr. Not "seen" a single June bug this year. I saw an occasional Japanese beetle around the week of the 4th of July, and suddenly they are gone? Not complaining, but rare I see this few.

I got PAINTING THE ROSES RED this year but will probably not see any blooms till next year.

HILLBILLY HEART is a lovely bloom.

What a gorgeous photo of Shores Of Time! Mine has a rebloom scape coming, and I can't wait to see it again. Has Paiting the Roses Red been splotchy for you? It will probably get better with warmer temps. I think the photo you posted looks pretty good. The others are nice, too!

Yes, Painting the Roses Red has been splotchy, in fact two more blooms this morning. They weren't open all the way when I left for work but both look like thery are going to be splotchy and the temps have been really cool but it's suppose to warm up here later in the week so maybe they will improve.
