Patterns anyone? Tanya's seedlings

Things are getting good with the amount of FFO in the seedling beds. After a very poor first month of nothing worth looking at twice; some interesting things are showing up.

Tanya has been out doing me, but I'm starting to catch up alittle. Here's some blooms that she has taken a hankering to.

All the above are TETS and below is a dip.

The third one has an amazing pattern, and I love the applique on the fourth one. Congrats to Tanya on some great seedlings.

To be honest, I don't remember. It was a photo from yesterday so I can't check to see. It will bloom again soon and I'll try to remember to check for this. Thanks ya'll, Mona Oh, here's one from today. First thing this morning 9am: Charles Johnston x Mal(10/31/05) It's more lavender in early am. Charles Johnston x Mal(10/31/05)r3 after lunch in hot sun. It seems to be prettier after the heat has hit it. It's more salmon after the heat. It's also very big, maybe 6". Oh, I just went to check, it's 7" on a first bloom. Now this seedling was started Oct 05 but it didn't bloom last year. It's also one of my first efforts at hybridizing so that makes it special to me. I'll be keeping this one. It didn't spot from our 2 minute shower either!

You have some wonderful seedings there! I love reading your posts. The purple seedling in picture #5 is awesome, I love the eye pattern (is that what you call it?). My favorite though is the Carol Todd seedling, the pale pink with the double edge is just what I like in a daylily. I also really like the one labeled 'just another pretty purple'. lalalandwi, Sure we can tell ya Number 3 as it's one we know. The 4th we only know the pod parent. The thing is the chances of you getting anything similiar if you do the cross is about zero. Something we've found out ourselves. #3 - Greywood's Painted Pony X Dana Townsend #4 - The Band Plays On X unknown This is the first of over 100 seedlings from The Band Plays On that isn't muddy. There's always a first though. fairysoapgirl, The first 1 is 2 fans now and 2&3 are 3 fans. #4 is still 1 fan yet. The BC isn't bad for first scapes from 10-14 buds on 9 month seedlings with even some side branches. Bruce and Tanya

I love them all!!!!!!!!!! Wow, those are so cool!! That 1st one looks like it has small lines coming out of the eyezone! I've never seen anything like that before! I love the applique look & often wish it had a defined border around them. In your case it is framed!

The 2nd one's form is outstanding! I don't think I've seen a funky eyezoned dl with that form before, they are usually round. I love the ruffles & the picotee edge.

I love it when the sepals carry the pattern from the petals & in your 3rd seedling they are huge!

Very, very nice. Congrats!

They are all wonderful!! Tanya really has a winner with that second one. The form is quite unique, and I love the way that wire edge sets it off. I really like the color and applique on the last seedling too. Great job!

They are all OUTSTANDING!

If I could only pick one favorite, I'd choose #2. Love its gentle ruffling, and the form - how the petals extend straight out while the sepals curve backward. Also love the intricate EZ.

Oh my, those are wonderful! My favorite is the last one, the dip - absolutely stunning. I'd buy that one in a heartbeat. . . .

What beauties you have there. Looks like lots more is blooming than when I was over last month! DH will be coming with me this time to see all the changes that you both made in your back yard. It's gorgeous!
