Thanks,Rick. I hope you have a Master List of your cultivars because it has become my "buy it now" list! lol! So far I only have 4 or 5 of the ones you have posted. I do have 2 seedlings of Azure Violets. Does that count?

There are diamond bits for dremel-type tools. I've only had to R&R grout once, that was years ago, and that's what I used. The bit I use looked like a smooth drill bit covered with diamonds. Maybe $10 each, I use 3 of them. I ran the dremel down the grout lines holding it at a 30-45 degree angle. I ran the bit down one edge of the grout line, then the other side. You don't need to get the joints spanking clean, but do be careful you don't nick up and roughen the edges of the tiles or (egad) run the bit across the face of the glazing. It's very very dusty work. Very dusty. The sooner you get on it the better due to cure strength timelines of cementitious products. The bits I used looked somewhat like this "7122" bit. It doesn't look like the exact bit I used, but it's pretty close. I caught this link too, dremel has an attachment kit and bit for grout removal. Their "569" bit is carbide instead of diamond. Hello Monica, It appears that the shrink wrap is distorting the sheet. When you unwrap it and let it relax (face-down)it should straighten out and the spacing should become more consistent. When installing mosaics, it's always a good idea to keep a *sharp* utility knife with plenty of new blades on hand. Occasionally, you'll just come across some screw-jawed piece that either needs to be "liberated" from the mesh or replaced all together. I also keep a flat trowel handy and use it's narrow edge to align sheets and to make gentle adjustments by "pulling" the sheets into position. For those Tantrum tiles, keep plenty of clean water handy with a sponge and clean the tiles are you go. You don't have to use a lot of water, just make sure that you keep rinsing out your sponge and wipe the surfaces clean. The crazing (crackle) on the surface can capture pigment from adhesives or grout and become an indelible stain. Applying a sealer to the tile after it's installed but before you grout isn't a bad idea either. Best of luck and it really is one of the best looking tile lines out there. Great choice! Shaughnn

FWIW, I love the herringbone pattern. Short grout lines, elegant, simple yet always interesting. Try going to google, switch to 'images' [in the upper right corner], and searching for 'herringbone tile': you'll get hundreds of pictures.

Socks, you must be thinking of Mickey, who died in January 2010. I'm having second thoughts about taking on this cat. I don't know if she's nursing, but I think she's pregnant. And apparently she comes from the horse farm next door. The two cats I have now came from there, too. A female had been coming around, just like this one. She had just weaned a litter, and I rounded them up, taking the orange tabby kittens to the shelter (where they said orange was the color most likely to be adopted) and keeping the mother and her black kitten. She was pregnant when I had her spayed. I certainly don't want to punish this current cat for her owner's neglect, but there's a limit to how many cats I can save. There was a time when my DH and I rescued dogs, cats, and horses without limit, but I'm not in that position anymore. I'll talk to the owner about taking the cat myself to be spayed, at his expense. We discussed this a few years ago, but at the time he wanted me to keep the cat in my house for the required two-week healing period. I might agree to do that this time if certain conditions are met. Or maybe I'll find he's not interested. We'll see.

Yup Jan...that Bill will take alot of Green to get back to fertile turf again....LOL My little Baby broke my Piggy Bank......oh well..thats what Daddy's Little Girl is for and worth very penny of it...:) Shhhhhhhhh (But I am glad I didn't have twin Gals.....hehehe
I'll post a few more now...It was a long drive back from dropping them off for their Cruise....I'm beat and sittin back with a cold one....enjoying the evening....:)

Pretty pics Rick....I'm sure glad JTD is blooming for you...I'd hate to think the one you sent me bloomed and the ones you kept didn't!!!! LOL I wonder if the rebloom on mine will be as nice as the first blooms were. Love that GH too, and you're starting to get blooms from "our" Munsons too, I see..... :)
Get that "bucket" emptied quick so you can show us some more.... ;o)

Purdy,Purdy blooms and just keep getting more purdy.Each one is prettier then the last one.I love all of them purples,and that Duke of Durham,what a beauty it is,and Imperial Splendor.Wish I didn't have a bunch of medical bills to get paid off,so I could order me some like these.WOW. Gorgeous.

Well today is clean up after the storms day......the walk to the mailbox was rather funky....LOL Oh well...got all day to pick things up...fix washed away mulch...re-plant a few root exposed babies...ahhh the list goes on.....and that ain't the "Honey Do List, Either"....geeeezzzz and it's supposed to be hot and humid today.......arghhhhhhh...Hmmm well that is better then 5 degrees and a Nor'Easter....LOL LOL Ok time to post a few and get with the program.........

I got a potted Ed Brown last week.Buds are ready to burst, so he will be in the pot 'till he's done blooming. Ladybug's Louise was a gift plant this spring, so I will have to wait to see her bloom. CM and JTD are on my ever-growing list. IS puts on a beautiful clump show! Thanks for all the effort you put into posting your pics,Rick. It is great to see the blooms in a northern garden. You are almost like a database for northerners!

Great pics, thoroughly enjoy them. Is the Magic Amethyst bloom typical for that plant? It just strikes my eye as oddly formed. But then again, I am totally new to this game, so what do I know?

Hi Roger.....No, that pic was taken prior to it fully opening...I knew I was not going to get another pic...before it was done for the day...I was trying to capture it's awesome colour....I should pay more attention to the bloom form...don't want to mis-lead or mis-represent the awesome daylily..sorry!

Not peak yet Jan...should be this coming week...I hope!..:)

Rick, honey, I know you're worn out from all the hoopla surrounding your daugters wedding, and the trip to the coast to see them off yesterday, but sometimes I wonder if you aren't truly a "blonde"....lol...or maybe just having a "senior moment"? Both of which I've been accused of by a very dear friend of mine!!!!! I'll not be calling any names though......
But I do love that pic of Sp. Surprise Purple so no matter that you posted it twice.....;o)

Don't you just love IP? It really bloomed a lot for a brand new one in my garden. I loved it!! I've got a pod set on it by JTD I think.....anyway, it should be an interesting cross. I really want to get those Munson genetics going with some of the newer dl's. I don't think even the tip of the iceberg has been touched with the possiblilities that are there, using the Munsons. :)

Rick, I took a piece of paper and wrote down all the ones I like, have wanted, and now must have! Now I'm headed to the yard, somewhere on these three acres I know I can make another dl bed. Because of you my dear husband is watching me and crying in his cup of joe because of your pics!!! Beautiful photos and what a way to wake up for sure. Keep'em coming please.

Lovely as always Rick. It was still raining a bit here when I got up, so I'm just now headed out for my walk to see what might be blooming. Of course they'll have some of that "Alabama Sweat" on them, I'm sure!!!! LOL
Love that EOS, BTW, it's a newbie for me and no blooms yet. :(
