Saffron Question

I planted some saffron crocus bulbs late last summer. This fall they sprouted and I got some flowers. The flowers have long since gone and the grassy-looking leaves are all that is left. These leaves are starting to yellow a bit and don't look all that great. I am under the impression that I am not supposed to water saffron during the summer as the plant is dormant. It probably won't rain much, if at all, here until the fall.

So, should I water this saffron at all, or just let it be until the fall? It's only April so it isn't really summer yet so I'm not sure exactly how this works.
